Holiday engagements

Hi friends,

Trust we are all having a restful holiday, mine isn’t so restful after all *tears up*, I’m currently working on a post graduate program, that’s aside the fact that the weather seems to be so hot and unfriendly lately *sadface*.

Enough about me, I will officially like to apologise for the late post, I had promised to give us some tips/use ideas to engage the children during the course of this holiday. However, within the twinkle of an eye, a week is gone already from the break. So, without any further delay, let’s go straight to business. Here are a few things you could work on during this holiday;

For the younger children, you could begin with
a)    pencil grip
b)   number/letter formation
c)    counting and identification of numbers
d)   expressive art (dance, drawing, colouring and painting)

For the older children,
Let them have the much needed break from academic work, i'm certain they have worked really hard from January. However, you could go through last terms topics with them as a way of revision. Engage them in extra curricula activities; swimming, football, tennis, ballet, sewing/fashion designing, cookery or even music and drama.

I shall be sharing some sample worksheets we could use later, just in case you are not sure of how to go about some of these above activities.

Bye for now!
